Course Missing in Moodle – Who to Contact (Instructor or ITS)

If you are logged into Moodle but your course is missing, follow the steps below. In most cases this is related to registration status or course publishing dates.

Step 1: Check Your Registration in Self Service

  • Log in to Self Service .
  • Confirm that you are officially registered in the course.
    • If you do not see the course listed, contact the Registrar’s Office.  Please ensure you include your Student Number with your email

Step 2: Check Course Start / Publish

  • Has the course officially started yet?
  • Instructors decide when to publish courses in Moodle.
    • If the instructor has not published it yet, you will not see it in Moodle until they do.

Step 3: If the Course Still Doesn’t Show

  • Contact your instructor first to confirm the course has been published.
  • If your instructor confirms the course is published and you are registered → move to Step 4.

Step 4: Technical Issues (ITS Helpdesk)

  • Submit a ticket if you receive login errors in Moodle.
  • Submit a ticket if you are registered and the course is published, but it still does not appear.
  • Submit your request through the Helpdesk Portal .
