How do I Recover Deleted Files? (OneDrive)

If you accidentally delete a file or folder in OneDrive, you may be able to recover it later from the OneDrive recycle bin. Deleted items are held in the "Recycle Bin" folder and purged after 93 days. There are no recovery options after the 93 days have passed.

How-to

  1. Sign in to https://portal.office.com
  2. Click the App Launcher button in the top left corner

  3. Click on OneDrive icon

  4. Click on Recycle Bin on the left navigation pane

  5. Select the file or files that you need to restore by pointing to each item and clicking the circle check box that appears

  6. Click on Restore button on the top
